GCSE PHYSICS Masterclasses
FEBRUARY Half-Term 

GCSE PHYSIcs: FROM MOCKS TO MASTERY

These February masterclasses are designed to do one thing:
Help students turn where they are now into the grades they actually want in the real GCSEs.

There are two routes, depending on what your mocks showed.

​

Route 1 : Get a Grade 9 in GSCE Physics 

For students around Grade 7+ who already understand most content and want targeted practice on the highest-difficulty questions and exam technique to secure a 9.

​

Route 2: Physics Reset: for students currently around Grade 3–7 (especially those on a 6 or below) who want to build solid foundations, fix misconceptions, and build a revision system that improves marks.

Your current grade (mock or predicted):

  • ≤ 4: Start with Physics Reset and strengthen fundamentals

  • 5–6: Physics Reset will build confidence and improve mark ranges

  • ≥ 7: Consider both — Reset if you want structured revision + Grade 9 if ready for top grade techniques!

I just wanted to say thank you for the masterclass! My daughter (yr 11)  and I have just watched it and I was so happy to finally see some sensible guided advice around revision, just knowing where to start (with the specs - who knew?!) is incredible!  Why aren’t we told any of this?!! The Masterclasses Timetable

GET A GRADE 9 IN PHYSICS​​

In this session we will cover the HARDEST mathematical and conceptual  questions in the physics GCSE.

For the maths, we will:

  • break down high-mark calculation questions step by step

  • model the thinking process examiners expect to see

  • practise handling multi-step problems without panic

  • spot common traps that lose Grade 9 marks

Students will learn how to reduce cognitive load, choose the right equations, and structure their working clearly — even under time pressure.

For the concepts, we will:

  • unpack difficult concepts and “what’s actually going on” physically

  • tackle long-answer questions that require explanation, not memorisation

  • show how marks are awarded — and how to extract them

  • cover Grade 9-specific exam technique (timing, checking, resilience)

This workshop is about turning strong understanding into consistent full mark answers.

PHYSICS RESET: A SMARTER WAY TO REVISE FOR YOUR GCSES  

​

This session teaches a clear, repeatable revision system that shows students:

  • what to prioritise

  • how to use exam questions early

  • how to stop passive revision

  • and how to make steady, visible progress between now and the real GCSEs

What this masterclass focuses on

  • why traditional “topic-by-topic revision” often stalls progress

  • how to use exam questions to guide what to revise

  • how to identify gaps accurately using the specification

  • how to revise actively, not passively

  • how to build confidence through feedback loops

This is not about “working harder”.
It’s about working in the right order, with the right tools.
